New THM1176 software

A major upgrade of the THM1176 Three-axis Hall Magnetometer software is now available.

Version 3.2 of the THM1176 software is a major upgrade that includes:

• Support for the new THM1176-LF Low-Field probe;
• Restructuring of the UIF software to make it more robust;
• Support for the Macintosh platform;
• Unified code base for all supported platforms; and
• Many miscellaneous improvements.

The installation images are here:

• Desktop kit
• Handheld kit (encrypted for licensing reasons - send us an e-mail with the serial number of your instrument and we will send you the password)

Before installing, some support libraries may be required:

• Windows: LabVIEW Runtime Environment 8.5.1, NI-VISA Runtime Library 4.6
• Macintosh: NI-VISA Runtime Library 4.5
• Windows Mobile: none

For Windows and Macintosh, follow the installation instructions in Section 2.1 of the manual. For Windows Mobile, follow the instructions in the file \Handheld Kit\PDA\Reinstall\ReadMe.rtf.
